Kim Ege, Heather Simmen elected to three-year terms

Nov. 8, 2023—With all 24 voting centers reporting from the Nov. 7 election for two seats on the College Station Independent School District Board of Trustees, unofficial results indicate that Kim Ege was elected to Position 6 and Heather Simmen was elected to Position 7.

 

Kim Ege ran unopposed for the Position 6 seat and will begin her first term of service to the district. 

 

For the Position 7 seat, Simmen received 4,934 votes (55.97%) over opponent Nolan who drew 3,881 votes (44.03%). Simmen will begin her first term of service to the district.

Official results from Tuesday's election will be canvassed and announced during the Nov. 15 Board of Trustees workshop. The elected candidates to Positions 6 and 7 will be sworn in in December to serve three-year terms.
