A&M Consolidated High School football team advances to Class 5A state quarterfinals
Nov. 26, 2023—The A&M Consolidated High School football team won its regional semifinal round postseason game on Nov. 24 and advanced to the Class 5A state quarterfinals for the first time in 10 years.
The Tigers beat Cedar Park, 44-20, in the third-round playoff matchup. The victory marks A&M Consolidated’s first time advancing past the regional semifinal round since 2013.
The College Station Cougars finished their season in Division I Region III-5A regional semifinal game following a 21-26 loss to Smithson Valley on Nov. 24. The Cougars were the undefeated District 11-5A champions with an overall season record of 11-2.
A&M Consolidated will play Smithson Valley at 7 p.m. on Dec. 1 at John Gupton Stadium (200 Gupton Way Drive, Cedar Park, Texas).
All tickets must be purchased online on the Leander ISD athletic ticket webpage. A&M Consolidated fans need to select the visitor ticket option.
Presale tickets will be available Nov. 27 at 8 a.m. through Dec. 1 at 4:30 p.m. Student tickets are $4 and adult tickets are $8. Tickets purchased after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 are $10.
A clear bag policy is in effect for the game.
