April 3, 2024–Prepare to be dazzled as Wellborn Middle School unveils its highly anticipated production of "The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition," showcasing the remarkable talents of its Fine Arts Department. With two captivating performances scheduled for April 13, audiences are in for a treat with a matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening show at 7 p.m. at the College Station High School auditorium (4002 Victoria Ave.).
The production of "The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition" is a collaborative effort, with students from various disciplines within the fine arts department coming together to bring the beloved tale to life. Art students have lent their creative talents to craft stunning props and set pieces, ensuring that every scene is imbued with visual splendor. Additionally, their artistic flair has transformed the entrances to the CSHS auditorium into portals to the land of Oz, welcoming guests into a world of wonder and excitement. Members of the school's esteemed band and orchestra will set the stage with enchanting melodies before the show and during intermission, adding an extra layer of magic to the already mesmerizing experience.
