Cost: $24.22 million
CSISD opened its ninth elementary campus (Spring Creek Elementary) in July 2015 to increase its elementary capacity to 5,800 students. The district is expecting to have 5,580 students in the elementary grades during the 2015-16 school year and by the 2018-19 school year, when elementary No. 10 would open, CSISD will have an estimated 6,220 elementary students -- 420 over capacity.
