DAEP is the secondary disciplinary alternative education program for grades 6 - 12. This includes Oakwood Intermediate, Cypress Grove Intermediate, Pecan Trail Intermediate, A&M Consolidated Middle School, College Station Middle School, Wellborn Middle School, A&M Consolidated High School, College Station High School, and College View High School.
Student hours are 8:20 am - 3:50 pm.
Assignments will be sent to the students by the home campus teacher via schoology, e-mail, and/or inner campus mail. The assignments could include a variety of formats, such as computer-based curriculum and/or teacher-prepared assignments.
Placement lengths will be determined by the DAEP Placement Committee.
Students may earn days for being successful in the Venture Classroom.
Extenuating circumstances may result an adjustment in assignment length.
Academics and socialization skills are emphasized.
Transportation is provided in the morning and afternoons if students live more than 2 miles from the Alternative Learning Campus.
Successful components of this program include daily student evaluations.
The Federal breakfast/lunch program is available to our students.
Students are expected to abide by the Venture Center Student Handbook, College Station ISD Student Code of Conduct and School Board policies.
