
College Station High School student Camille Chiu recently won the “Best of Fair” award at the Austin Energy Regional Science Festival and she and her project, "Mapping the Habitability of the Milky Way with Gaia and Stellar Kinematics," will advance to the International Science Fair and Engineering Festival.
Chiu’s project also took home first place in astronomy and physics, first place from the Society of Women’s Engineers and a Tyrex Group Award.
Nine other CSISD students entered projects in the competition and the results are as follows:
