March 13, 2024–Eleven CSISD athletes qualified for the 2024 Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) State Championships following the Division I Region II-5A Championships held at Elgin High School on March 2.
10 athletes from College Station High School qualified for the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) State Championships to be held at the Comerica Center in Frisco on March 15-16.
The College Station High School girls' powerlifting team placed second at the regional meet with sophomore Breanna Ihrig, junior Jessica Kolodziejczyk and freshman J'Miracle Sandle leading the Cougars with first-place finishes. A&M Consolidated High School finished 13th at the regional meet. Sophomore Da'Rihanna Roberts will represent the Tigers at the state contest.
