Eight students from A&M Consolidated High School recently advanced to the area choir competition and will have an opportunity to audition for inclusion in an all-state ensemble.
These students will audition for a chance to become a member of the Texas All-State Choir in early January.
In addition, 17 students earned a spot in one of the ninth and tenth grade all-region choirs, but will not advance to the area round.
