May 15, 2024–Students from A&M Consolidated High School and College Station High School were recognized for their writing, photography and design at the 2024 Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC) April 19-21 at the University of Texas in Austin.

College Station High School newspaper staff earned the Bronze Star Award as one of the top 15 best student newspaper publications in the state among all UIL divisions for both public and private schools. Students were also recognized with an Award of Distinguished Merit for their writing, photography and design work.
The Cougar yearbook staff was recognized with an Award of Achievement, the second highest rating, for their work on the 2022-2023 yearbook, I Dare You.
A&M Consolidated High School yearbook staff was recognized with an Award of Distinguished Merit for their work on the 2022-2023 yearbook, FOURmation.
A&M Consolidated High School yearbook staff earned an Award of Distinguished Merit, the association’s highest rating, for their work on the 2023-2024 yearbook, FOURmation.
In addition, A&M Consolidated newspaper adviser Mike Williams won the Advisers’ Challenge for subject writing.
