CSISD students succeed at SkillsUSA State Championships, advance to National Conference
May 3, 2024–Five CSISD students advanced to the 2024 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference following the 2024 SkillsUSA Texas State Championships held April 4-7 in Corpus Christi.
College View High School seniors Lauren Coulston and Beatriz Elliot Torres brought home College View’s first SkillsUSA state championship in 3D Visualization & Animation; A&M Consolidated High School juniors Zander Cochran and Nathanael Tremblay earned gold in Digital Cinema Production; and A&M Consolidated High School senior Joseph Ha won first place in Health Occupations Professional Portfolio.
In addition, several other CSISD student earned medals and recognition in their respective events. The following students competed in the state competition:
