Oct. 6, 2023–The A&M Consolidated HS agriculture mechanics program received a generous donation of $5,000 from Reynolds & Reynolds earlier this Fall. The donation provides the program with resources to purchase tools and equipment that will be used to purchase tools and equipment to further students’ education in the field.
“I’m very appreciative,” said Robert Myatt, AMCHS ag science teacher and FFA advisor. “The money will be used for something students can use for many years.”
While Reynolds primarily develops and supports software for the automotive industry, many of the company’s hardware solutions are built and repaired at their College Station facility.
“Supporting agricultural mechanics programs where students utilize design software and then assemble various items from workstations, trailers, BBQ pits, tool storage systems, and anything else they can dream up is a natural fit,” said Lisa Kuhlmann, Reynolds & Reynolds product manager. “The skills they develop in these programs can be used throughout their lives and are highly transferable to many different jobs. Reynolds & Reynolds is thrilled to support our local students in their educational endeavors.”
