2022 - 2023 ESSA Federal Program Application Solicitation for Public Input
College Station ISD will apply for the ESSA Federal Programs Title I, II, III & IV for 2022-2023 school year.
ESSA funds are supplementary federal funds which we apply for yearly.
Title I funds provide supplemental funding to acquire additional educational resources at schools with high concentrations of students from low-income homes. These funds are used to improve the quality of education programs and ensure students from low-income families have opportunities to meet challenging state assessments.
Title II funds support educators in their work to improve the overall quality of instruction and ensure equity of educational opportunity for all students.
Title III funds aim to ensure that English Learners (ELs) and immigrant students attain English proficiency and develop high levels of academic achievement in English.
Title IV funds are used to provide all students a well-rounded education, improve academic outcomes by maintaining safe and healthy students and improve the use of technology to advance student academic achievement.
